Audit Requirement
Privately owned ECE services are required to submit an Annual Financial Declaration by 30th June each year. This is a condition of the Ministry of Education funding and assures the Ministry that the funding is being spent appropriately.
Audit Steps
The ECE Centre Manager or owner provides documentation to enable the auditor to undertake their work in accordance with auditing standards. The output is an Audit Report that accompanies the Special Purpose Financial Report and financial declaration which is submitted to the Ministry of Education.
